Robofest 3.0
- Robofest 3.0, stands as the flagship series of robotics events hosted by IEEE RAS PESU, held between 18th October and 19th November, 2023. This signature event of ours unfolds over an entire month, drawing participation from robotics enthusiasts across the country.
- It commenced with the grand inauguration on October 18th 2023 in front of BE Block. We ignited the festivities with a stunning display, unveiling our banner along with a captivating drone reveal.
- On the 26th and 27th of October, we orchestrated a captivating project display, unveiling a collection of remarkable creations by the talented RAS PESU team.
- On the 6th of November, we hosted an orientation session, enlightening students with invaluable insights into the ethos and operational framework of the club. Attendees were also provided with comprehensive guidance on participation in Robofest - an exceptional platform to exhibit their inherent talents.
- we hosted 2 workshops before our main offline hackathon enabling participants to be prepared to face the problem statements released for the hackathon. The workshops encompassed ROS and CAD Modelling taught by our student mentors.
- The 24hr offline hackathon was conducted on November 18th and 19th, spanning from 3 PM to 3 PM (IST), in the MRD Auditorium. Drawing participants from across the nation, it provided a platform adorned with golden opportunities for showcasing diverse talents and skill sets across a range of engaging tracks. Enthusiastic participants could choose from four distinctive tracks: the ART PARK track, cRAIS track, PVL track, and an Open Innovation track.
- We had a massive turnover of around 75 registered teams with students from various universities all over the country. The 75 teams then had to tackle a simple problem statement to qualify for the main event. Top 25 teams were then selected for the 24hr hackathon.
