IEEE RAS PESU is proud to share yet another achievement!

Our competition body won the First Runner-Up position at #Robonautica, a prestigious 2-day national level robotics competition organised by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) during their fest #Rhapsody, on 14th and 15th October, 2023, in collaboration with ARTPARK as robotics skilling mentor and RigBetel Labs, Pune.

The competition was based on the #ROS framework. After an intense screening round involving simulation, the team made it to Top 8 for the offline event. Here, they programmed the physical #TortoiseBot robots provided by RigBetel Labs to perform challenging tasks such as Manual Mapping, Autonomous Navigation, Lane Following, Static and Dynamic Obstacle avoidance, Traffic Sign Detection and more. The team received a cash prize of Rs 10k and appreciation from the jury consisting of IISc professors.
